Brief Introduction
Wuhan is a national central city and the political, economic , cultural , commercial and financial centre in Central China. It sits at the intersection of the Yangtze River and its largest tributary, the Han River. Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang, the three towns that make up Wuhan, face each other across the rivers.

Wuhan is embraced by forests and stud with lakes. The Yangtze River and Han River join here. The greenery coverage in built-up area reaches 38.19%. Wuhan historically has been known as ”the leading thoroughfare to nine provinces” and is China's largest transportation hub for land, water and air travel. It is also the center of national high speed railway network.
  • Airway: Hub of international flights in Central China. 40 direct international flights to Paris, Moscow, los Angeles, San Francisco, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney, Melbourne, Dubai, Rome, etc.
  • Waterway: No.1 inland river port of Yangtze river. The river-sea-through route starting from Wuhan New Port, has been connected to international ocean liners, enabling it to reach every corner of the world.
  • Railway: 8 national trunk railways join here, making Wuhan the center of national high speed railway network. Wuhan has also opened an Asia-Europe freight train which travels along the route of Wuhan-Xinjiang-Europe.
  • Highway: 14 expressways join in Wuhan
  • Railway transit: 125.4km-long rail transit in operation now. Planning to build 215km-long by the year of 2017.
